UOA is actively involved in activity TSA3.2, "Testing and certification". TSA3.2 is divided in the following four subgroups:

UOA's involvement is focused on TSA3.2.3 and TSA3.2.1. In particularly UOA has deployed and operates in the framework of TSA3.2.3 the certification test bed site hosted at UOA premises and is the responsible partner for the certification of creamCE. Additionally UOA contributes to the certification of APEL, LCAS, Torque/Maui, SLCS.

UOA's certification site (EGEE-SEE-CERT) is built on thirteen high performance rack mountable servers with Out of Band Management capabilities. Additionally five commodity servers are used to deploy peripheral services to support the operation of the main grid cluster and the activities of the team. The list of these peripheral services includes NFS, DNS DHCP, Netboot, Version Control services and web services to provide access to extensive test results conducted by UOA.

We recently reorganized our cluster and everything is now setup in an orderly fashion. To take a peek inside our computer room click here. For more information about the setup of our cluster you may see this page (slightly outdated).
